1925 – the year Hôtel Bellevue in Cogne was founded. This, just three years after the Gran Paradiso National Park was created from what was previously a game reserve of the Italian royal family.
In 1926 a law was passed that blocked any further construction in the Sant'Orso meadows. This is why Hôtel Bellevue has such a privileged position, surrounded by the Sant'Orso meadows and with a spectacular view over the Gran Paradiso glacier.
Despite substantial renovation and innovations introduced over the years, this old mountain château still continues to transmit emotions of an atmosphere of times gone by.
