Vallèe Blanche

The Vallée Blanche is a 24 km off-slope that starts at Punta Helbronner and finishes  either at the Montenvers mountain rail terminus or in Chamonix itself depending on snow conditions. This can give you around 2800 meters an amazing scenery of the Mont Blanc range. Despite its reputations as “something between a blue and a red slope “it should not be forgotten that the Vallée Blanche is a high mountain off-track route with all that it entails. For this reason it is very important to be accompanied by an alpine guide.
